I may be partial to this cover because I love Myla Goldberg’s writing, but I find Lauren’s collage incredibly clever and I love its tactility. I never get tired of looking at it and finding new details. There are some multidimensional messages happening in that emblem and it’s got me so curious about the book….That blue background is lovely and the delicate gold foil fragments on uncoated stock makes the cover that much more special. And overall, the colors and lettering strike a perfect balance.
